hello fam & friends!!
This week was good! Time is moving pretty fast, and the weeks are starting to fly. I really love my companion hna Molinero. she is the cutest thing ever and so so so sweet. Super good missionary and is ALWAYS serving me. literally doesn't let me do anything for her ever!! I am super blessed to have her.
So our investigator Veronica is amazing. Last week she drove into town to have a lesson with us right, but theres this highway where all of the truckers drive and its supppper sketchy to cross, WELL poor old little veronica and her hijo got HIT on their way to this lesson. sooo scary!! Their car is completely total but they were ok, such a blessing. We were so scared that she would take it as a sign and think it was becasue she was investigating the Church but she is AMAZING and was telling us how grateful she is, and knows that God was lookng out for her. Fast forward to this last Thursday and we get a call from her @ 11:30 AM and she tells us she had to come to the city to buy things and wanted to know if we could teach her, but we were completely on the other side of town and had lunch with a member at 12:30, so we told her we couldn't but maybe if she could return around 4:30- 5ish, and she told us she would WAIT for us until then! so we were like whaaaat??? Of course we chanegd our plans and went right after lunch and had the best lesson about the plan of salvation with her. she wants more than anythign to get baptized and to keep learning. seriously suuuch a blessing . I didn't know investigators like her actaully existed:)!!
We also have been teaching a girl named Danielle who I LOVE. total hippie, in tune with her inner self and the wind and all that:) gotta love it! She looooved talking to us (wanted us to go drink mate with her and talk about life, but obviouosly we can't really do that) but wasn't progressing. So we decided to leave her for a few weeks. we went and visited her at her work a few weeks ago and she told us she started reading The Book of Mormon and we were STOKED, so we made a cita (an appointment) with her and so it was this last Thursday I think and our English class went late, so we were late to the cita, but when we went nobody was answering so we were way bummed, but we both didn't want to leave, so we were waiting and knocking, until finally we see a girl a few blocks away waving her hands frantically, and it was her! she had gotten off work late and was scared we had already left ( she didnt have credit to call and tell us to wait lol) and so we went and had the best lesson with her. The spirit was so strong, and her Book of Mormon was all marked up and she told us she knows its the word of God and has already answered so many of her questions. woooo! She wants to get baptized, bu....t she's living with her her novio of manny years, we still need to talk about the law of chastity, so I'm a little nervous to see how she responds to that, because she is such a free spirit. but I know that miracles can happen and people are totally willing to change their lives when the spirit has testified to them & they know that this church is true, and of all the blessings that are in store for them! I love yo all! have the best week!
PS mom, this is me pretending I am in Vienna eating a gelato w/you guys, right about now I'm sure!!!
