what a week!! this week has been full of miracles!
SO yeah we had the chapel FULL this Sunday!! we were sooo excited! This branch had something like 9 people coming just over a year ago or something! The Lord truly is preparing so many people here in Las Flores to accept the Gospel! We have a few investigators were wroking with right now and a few less actives as well which is super exciting:)
We found this girl Alejandra who apparently was baptized when she was 10, but has been inactive since then (38years old now) and we went to church with her and her two younger kids, her son is 11 and was realllly interested and particpated in the lesson and everything it was so great! This other lady we've been working with but who is WAY stubborn randomly called us to tell us her and her dauughter and her family were coming Sunday and we were like WHAT?! and so she was there and a few others at church on Sunday, and it was aweesooome. AND I feel like I've hit a turning point with my spanish!! its still hard and I dont understand it all (obviously) BUT I am doing alot better which is sooooo nice!
alright so we met this lady a few weeks back named Paula who was on our contact list. and so she was a little different but bless her heart right:) and so we we taugth her a short lesson and she was just balling and super into it haha and so we walked a way kind of like well alright....I was a bit confused come to find out she had told us (i didn't understand back then lol) that she has schizophrenia! So BUENO!!! long story short, we've seen her a few times since then, and she always runs up to us and kisses us all over our faces and usually her face has food on it lol! So at church yesterday during relief society, all of the sudden here comes Paula in the middle of class, making this grand entrance and I am DYING cuz we finally have gotten some less active members to come to church and paula comes barging in hahaha, and she really is one of a kind:)! So that was fun and a bit distracting lol! But we love her!
So I am taking my mission one day at a time, learning how to enjoy the journey, even though there are times where it is sooooo hard, i know this is where I'm suppose to be, and I am so honored to be able to serve the Lord.
Sorry for the shorter email, not much time as usual;/ Hope everyone is doing good! Love you all! ciao!
