hello friends!!
This week was way good. filled with milagritos cada dia! I am looooving the mission, my area, everything.
SO we have been working with a menos activa , Lidia for some time now. and she alwasy talked about her husband how he was super against the church and all this stuff, well we met him the other day and WOW! He was actually super nice to us and we were able to teach him and feel the spirit very strong. I know the Lord is prerparing people every day! we've been working so hard at finding investigators. we are talking with anybody and everybody!!!. Yesterday because it was Fathers day EVERYBDOY was out and in great spirits and cooking riiicco asado y todo, it was THE BEST. We tlaked with soo many families and are going to focus on teaching them this week! we're stoked(:
hahaah so the other night we were chilling in our pens, feeling the spirit, doing our studies when all of the sudden we hear 7 GUN SHOTS and police like crazy. Lets just sayI have my dads gene in reacting to situations with panic. ! freaked and ran and turned off ALL the lights and was ready to duck and cover HAHA my comp though i was crazy. We still dont know what happened but its all good! were living and thats all that matters! no really, I feel super safe regardless and  I know the Lord protects his servants.: )
something ive been contemplating a lot lately is the atonement. doctrina and convenios 19¨: 15 a 19 (creo) really hits me in the heart!! Our savior Jesus Christ suffered EVERYTHING, We literally cannot comprehend what he suffered for us. and all we have to do is repent and come to him and do our very best to live as He did! and he promises us he will be here for us and we can be clean and return to the presence of Him once more. He has given us the beautiful gift of the atonement, but WE are the ones who have to decvide whether or not to use it. He is always there waiting for us to choose to follow Him and accept Him. and the joy we recieve from doing this is inexpressible.
With that  being said, have a great week everybody!! the Lord lovvveeess you and i love you : )

sup fam! i am loooving my new area San Jose, I'm really close to the Mission home, so I LOVE that too!  The ward is DE 10 and i have soooo much love for them all just after 2 weeks! My companion is from Brazil and im finishing her last transfer of her training. She is super cute and is learning Spanish. We have our own little dialogue going on haha its a mix between Portuguese/ Spanish and english all rolled into one to try and understand eachother haha. This week was a looot better than our first week together, so thast good!, My new area is MUCH different than my first area Las Flores, both are great, but way different. I'm in the city here which means I take colectivos  (city buses) and walk a lot. No more 3+ hour plush bus rides to meeting and activities, I'll be missing my long bus ride naps!

Tuesday we went to the temple in BA with my zone and it was the bessst. i LOVE the temple. seriously the spirit we felt in th temple was unreal and there was sooo mcuh peace. My mission president and his wife will be leaving this month, they are finished with their 3 year mission, I will miss them, they truly are the BEST!  It was so nice attending the temple with them, I'm grateful for their service and example.

Funny "oopsies" story here...haha so the other day we were eating lunch with an invstigator, and she gave us this desert that was to DIIIE for,. and so while we were eating it, my comp decides to ask how you make it and she goes on to tell us that she has to soak it in coffee HAHA and we were like ....what. so the first time in my life i've eaten something with coffee in it AND it is on my mission. whoop whoop party party:)
About me new area, there is a LOT of work to be done here in San Jose and I am soooo excited to be here and be apart of the Lords work and we are trying to finding those who are searching & wanting to accept His Gospel.. This Gospel brings SO much happiness and guidance in my life and im sooooo garteful to be a part of this church and that i have the opportunity to see miracles everyday as I serve my mission, and really see the hand of the Lord in so many peoples lives and  in my life as well:)

Ok so I was sooooo excited, I got permission to see my great aunt, tia Juanita today! She lives only about 35 kilometers from my area,(but it's a different BA mission) and since I can't leave my area, she took a remis & came to us, and we had lunch at a cute
restaurant, and it was soooooooo good to see her!  I love that woman, she is so fun and now its WAY more fun because I can actually speak to her hahaha, before when she would come and stay with our family at home every summer all I could say to her was "tia linda" or "tia te quiro mucho" which means "pretty tia & tia I love you a lot" and now we REALLY talk and I can understand her and not just smile and say "si tia" hahahaha:)

Thats it folks!  I hope you all have a good week!  Love you all!
