another good week here in Las Flores!! My days are ticking here and Im trying to make the best of every second I have here! So our investigator. verónica lives in the campo, like FARRR into the campo, last week we finally took a remis (private taxi) to her house and it was over an hour away in pure campo. and so this week she really wanted us to come down again and teach her, becasue she couldn't leave her house her hijito was in school, and so we decided we were going to go. As soon as we decided we were going to go, we looked out the window and these biiiiiig super dark clouds start rolling in and we were like are you serious!!! but we REALLY wanted to go. the thing is, if it even started raining for a SPLIT second the roads would flood, we literally wouldn't be able to come back to Las Flores haha, and so we were like alright...... lets pray, and after we prayed we both felt like it was ok to go, even though literally the sky above us was completely gray. So we put on a smile, trusted the Lord and moved forward!! But in case of rain, we took our rainboots and coats in the event that we had to walk back the 30 kilometers HAHA we were prepared! While we were driving down this long dirt road i couldn't believe we were taking this risk, but low and behold the Lord really DOES hear and answers prayers and He blessed us for moving forward with the faith!
We went and had a great lesson with her, she is soo excited and prepared to be baptized, AND we were able to return back to Las Flores with out a drop of rain! Miracles every day folks!! I love you all, keep the faith, this is the true Church of Jesus Christ and I am SO grateful for it!
PS HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all you MOMS :)
